カメラトラッキングには RetrackerBliss を、バーチャルプロダクションのプラットフォームには Aximmetry を使用しました。
キャノンバーチャルプロダクションシステムは、さまざまな面で非常に優れています：
・レンズキャリブレーションが不要
・レンズの交換がスムーズ
・当初はグリーンスクリーン合成においてレンズの種類はそれほど重要でないと思っていましたが、それは誤りでした。シネレンズは映像の質を大きく高め、出演者がより洗練され、ダイナミックに見えるようになります。
・これまでレンズ歪みにより難しかった超広角レンズの使用も、バーチャルプロダクションで現実的な選択肢となりました。CG環境と実写の人物との整合が取りやすくなったためです。
Here’s our latest demo—though it’s more accurate to call it a lens test
Canon kindly let us borrow a C400 along with a full lineup of their cine lenses. We used hashtag#RetrackerBliss for camera tracking and hashtag#aximmetry as our virtual production platform.
The Canon Virtual Production System really delivers on multiple levels:
• No need for lens calibration
• Hassle-free lens swapping
• We initially thought lens types wouldn’t matter much for green screen compositing—but we were wrong. Cine lenses significantly enhance production value. The talent appears much more polished and dynamic.
• Ultra-wide-angle lenses are now a viable option for Virtual Production. Previously, this was challenging due to lens distortion, which made it hard to align the CG environment with the live-action talent.
