When i first saw this i was confused as to why some of the choices were made. what i realized was that i had forgot that this is a flash back and they even though in charge of a lot of things are still teenagers. we know that teens do not always make the best choices. Lan and Wey have a lot of differences in how they were raised and how to problem solve. one has spent his life basically in rules and books the other much more worldly like seen in the part where they found the info, they need Lan would have never gone to a bar for help. looking at it this way let me see that some choices were differently done because of youthful inexperience. love your reaction!
