I watched the show, I was not sure about this kind of drama, but the mamas got me. And Tian is just adorable, his love interest is something else. It's funny to see younger people reacting to the drama about old times, you really do not have the feeling of the era.
I was born in the late 60's so yup, it was important to hide your homosexuality at the time. You want a promotion, you want to keep your friends or family. Not everyone is ready to loss everything.

This series was good. This is how I was introduced to Jam and Film. Yes it is a soap opera vibe but the story keeps you watching. Yes her with the bulging eyes she does it throughout the series. Reminds me of the old Dallas Falcon Crest shows

I just loved the story, it takes a moment to get used to that pace. Also loved that every character had a story so we knew exactly what's their point of view and why they're acting like they do. Tian and Yang are the best characters ever.
